Rocky View Fire Service crest Station 60 provides fire suppression, rescue
and first response services for the public in
the south east quadrant of the Municipal District
of Rocky View.

Station 60 is located at #12 Railway Avenue in
Langdon, Alberta, Canada and is part of the
Rocky View Emergency Services within the Municipal
District of Rocky View.

Langdon is located approximately 15 kilometers East
of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The majority of residents commute to Calgary during the day. There are
approximately 3000 residents in and around Langdon.

Station 60 responded to 125 emergency calls in 2006.

There are usually between 25 and 30 active members.

Training drills are held every first, third, and fifth Thursday evenings from 19:00h
to 22:00h. On occaision, extra drills are held on weekends. Regular drills are
primarily instructed by Officers of the Station.

At present, there are no full-time, paid positions at our station. Members
are paid an hourly honorarium while at emergency calls. Members are not paid during standby time.
